OUR FACULTY
The Faculty of Computer Technologies was opened on September 1st 1994.
Our students often take first prizes at university, regional and national programming competitions or mathematics&physics competitions or are included into the picked sports teams; our best students receive Russian President's scholarships, Muravyev-Amursky or University Board's personal scholarships.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Both professors and students at the Faculty take an active part in research activities in a number of information technology areas, namely:
- Coordinated interoperable communication systems
- Municipal information systems
- Geographic information systems and forecasting woodland fire extinguishing tasks
- Information systems at leading city companies and institutions
- The geographic information system of the Komsomolsky Nature Park
- Information models for pre-production engineering systems
- Fuzzy expert systems
- Educational&reference system with elements of distant learning
EDUCATIONAL INFRACTRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
All five laboratories at the Faculty are equipped with state-of-the-art computers that are all connected to a LAN with Internet access and e-mail service.
