OUR FACULTY
Originally only civil and industrial engineers were taught at the Faculty.
But in 1955 two new disciplines were introduced – Urban Cadastre and Land Cadastre – and the Faculty got its current name.
The Faculty of Cadastre and Civil Engineering can boast rich traditions and impressive personnel potentials. It is this which gives us grounds to say that students here are offered highly professional education opportunities.

FURTHER EDUCATION
In the recent years and due to the gradual build up of our contacts with the People's Republic of China, our students have had an opportunity to do their traineeships in this country. Since 2007 our curriculum includes courses of the Chinese language. Students who showed a good progress in the program this year were allowed to do concurrent training in the Sheng Yang Civil Engineering University and get internationally accepted Bachelor degrees in civil engineering there.
Students of our Faculty take an active part in sporting and culture events.
Our graduates have an opportunity to continue their studies at the University by enrolling into full-time or part-time PhD courses at the relevant department.
During their studies, the students of the Faculty of Cadastre and Civil Engineering have a chance to get more knowledge/skills in such areas as expert evaluation and management of property, computer graphic design, specialized economic analysis software and computational software – all this is possible at further education courses and re-training courses; by doing this our students can considerably improve their future employment opportunities. All diplomas and certificates are state-recognized and legally binding in the territory of the Russian Federation.
EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS
The demand for engineers graduating from our Faculty of Cadastre and Civil Engineering is dictated by time. In the region today these specialists are lacking in numbers, so it is no surprise that 100% of our graduates are employed. Many of them get a job as engineers already on year 4 or 5 of their studies and after graduation the same company or plant hire them full time. Today some of our graduates hold high-ranking positions in the city administration or in regional governments; others work and live in CIS countries or abroad.
